I had an amazing Wed Night High Heat, Core Cardio Blast, and T:60 Trilogy at NGPT...50lb kettle bell swings, 50lb med ball slams, accidentally popped a wheely on the rowing machine, wall push-ups, 35 lb Russian twists, 50lb Bulgarian Bag crunches, 90lb prowler pushes, and a whopping 955 feet on the Jacobs. I worked the hardest I ever have tonight and my body was responding really well!! and I know why... Adam's Build The Bear Program in conjunction with Eli and Reg is working amazingly at increasing my strength and stamina, but there is an element that has been missing to cause a surge and even have the desire to take on 3 Classes...Hibernation.
I'm a workaholic but I don't view what I do as work cause I really enjoy helping companies to grow through healthy doses of creative strategy (and I haven't found the off switch)....so i do a lot of it; and as coach Reg can tell ya she now requires me to report sleep, and there aren't many days that go by that I don't get the coach smack down for SLEEP. Has anyone ever gone to a 6AM class and not been to bed yet? I have twice and many other times with 2-3 hours sleep. Well I landed myself in the docs office...Do you eat healthy? Healthiest I ever have...Do you exercise? more than I ever have...Are you under any stress? mmm maybe...How many hours do you work...I don't really consider it work...and then came the tests and smack down...you need to rest; your immune system is not keeping up (I cussed Reg under my breath) so I did it I rested I took an afternoon nap and overall got more sleep the next couple of days.
So the moral of the story is this LISTEN TO YOUR COACHES and understand they are not only helping you with your weight loss and MeltDOWNS, but are helping YOU to plow a path in creating some highly beneficial lifestyle changes for long term success.
I have to share this... on how my coaches present and past, and other MeltDowners have helped me soooo much through the past year in changing my lifestyle. I went to the Monroe County Fair; DANGEROUS... I waited with others wanting to buy Cinnamon rolls, ears of corn, Lemon Shake-ups. Temptng yes but Wow I had no desire for them I had me a bottle of water and 1 of the 2 protein bars I packed in my pocket..
Oh yeah and this docs visit BP 117/74 I have never been close, never mind under the magic 120/80 number...proving there is so much more to the program than just a new svelt you. Just get some sleep too...Carry on j.bear.
