Many of you have participated in our CLIMB FOR FREEDOM efforts and as a community we are so close to hitting our goal of 300 miles on Jacob's Ladder.
This week Kunga completed a Free Tibet Walk from New York City to Washington DC and many of our NGPT family members have been climbing to support him. Let's keep this momentum going!
Join Kunga this Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the studio for open climb time. We ask that you commit to climbing at least 500 feet while you are there. Both ladders will be going and anyone that climbs at least 500 feet will receive a Climb for Freedom t-shirt. The studio will be open until 4 p.m. Additional climb times this weekend include Saturday 9-10 a.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - Noon. If you plan on climbing, please email [email protected].
If you are new to NGPT and unfamiliar with the challenge, we have issued a challenge to climb over 300 miles on Jacob's Ladder as a Meltdown Family. This is over 1.5 MILLION feet climbed. The reason we are doing this is to support our good friend and Meltdown family member Kunga Norbu. Kunga's brother Jigme Norbu was tragically killed in an accident as he was walking 300 miles to raise awareness for Tibetan Freedom. So we have taken on this 300 mile climb to honor the Norbu family and help pick up the task that Jigme started.
