1. What motivated you to start bootcamp?
Recently, I have been working out at home with good success….So I thought. While working out at home, I had been considering another Meltdown, my first was in 2009. (Lost 46lbs) While I was in consideration mode for meltdown #2…. Adam sent me an email and said, “love to have you back the studio again”….So here I am… Down 13lbs in the first 2 weeks! And way stronger…. After two weeks, I could do more and better pushups than I did in the last several months at home! Thanks Adam!
2. Describe your bootcamp experience so far.
Unbelievably challenging; Mentally and physically.
3. What’s been your favorite part so far?
I love the many different class choices AND the routines change week to week! Even in the same class! NEVER BORING/ALWAYS CHALLENGING. I can’t believe I waited so long to do another Meltdown!
4. What has been the most surprising part of boot camp?
I didn’t realize how quickly I would adapt to PRIME. If you’re thinking about a 2nd Meltdown…..”GOT PRIME?” It doesn’t matter your age, current weight, eating habits or fitness level…Anyone can do PRIME!
5. What has been the most challenging part of boot camp?
Food prep. However, after a few days, when you get the prep down, it becomes routine. AND, you’ll be surprised when you feel sorry for the guy driving down the road eating a cheeseburger! Toss him an AMRAP!
6. How has your interaction been with your coaching team and the NGPT community?
It’s been great. Adam was the ONLY instructor who knew my name when I began. Now, after a few short weeks, ALL, the instructors use my name in class. Some classes are super big! Both NGPT instructors and participants are encouraging. It’s ok to ask the person next to you what’s what, even if you don’t know them. They are gonna help! …As always, make progress, not excuses!
