HUH???!!! Has Adam lost it………nope…..but my wife and I have started to watch The Walking Dead on Netflix and it got me thinking!
Here is my top five list of things that you should do to both survive the zombie apocalypse and your transformation process:
1. Don’t go wandering around into the woods by yourself! You know that those are the first people to get bitten and turn into Zombies! Come on people!
When we are talking about weight loss it is important to get some help. If you can allow yourself to become coachable then you can start gaining momentum in the correct direction.
2. Know how to take down your enemy. When dealing with the walking dead you have to have a weapon where you can take out their brain. That is the only way to get ‘em!
In dealing with weight loss you must know what will disrupt your transformation process and have a plan of attack ahead of time!
3. Look for group support. It is much easier to fight off the living dead when you have someone watching your back!
When you are trying to transform your body you need to have a support group of family and friends in place to help you get through the rough patches.
4. Stay positive. I’m only on season two of the show but I’m hoping that they find a cure or at least get control of the situation!
When you are transforming you have to remember that it won’t be a linear process. You will have some weird weigh ins that don’t make sense in both a good way and a bad way. Just look at your overall progress and stay the course!
5. Take it one day at a time. In dealing with both Zombies and your own transformation process you have to just focus on simplifying the process so that you don’t stress yourself out. Take on one challenge at a time and do your best in each situation.
Now you should be fully prepared just in case the zombie apocalypse happens at the same time as you are doing a boot camp!
